I saw that guitar about 5 years ago. It was awful! Buddy confirmed to me that he had no hand in that one!

Amazing the stories people will make up sometimes. Thought all of you would enjoy that one, we all need a good laugh every now and then!

Well, it has atom fretboards, so it HAS to be an Emmons. Rolling Eyes

Stuff like that really cracks me up. The sad thing is, some poor fool will come along and believe him and buy it.

The bad news is that it wasn't built by Buddy, or by anyone that he even knows. But the good news is that it only costs $10 Grand! Oh Well Heck if he sells that thing maybe he can finish installing the baseboards in his house.

I did not notice the missing baseboard or electrical outlet cover till it was pointed out.
So I went back and then I saw that Steve has a poorly designed timberframe house - at least the exposed wiring part.
My guess: it is owner built like the "Emmons built" kit steel.

Hans, are you thinking that Buddy built the house and the steel from a kit? Razz

The only kit guitar I remember is the Mark I that ordered through Guitar Player Magazine that you put everything together including finishing the guitar. Cost:$150 and would not stay in tune. But hey, it got me started Smile

Lee, I still have my Mark I and it did stay in tune! One of the plastic leg holders is broken and if I could find a replacement I would have it setup in the spare bedroom.
