While cruising thro' YOU TUBE..........

I happened across an interesting video/audio clip of a German country music band.

The steel player is playing a bright blue EMMONS double ten.

If you think might enjoy hearing how it sounds in German, go to:

Thanks once again Stuart..........

For inserting the link for me. I do appreciate it.

That entire series of German Beer Hall performances is addictive to me, at least. I've enjoyed it immensely.

I noticed that too. Cool take on some country music, but it's "lip sync". Somehow not the same as "live" but still entertaining and some good pickin', whoever did it...

No "Vorsprung durch Technik"!
The music in german tv-shows is predominantly "Playback"

Here you can hear my live-sound with an Emmons PP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IT4IupNDq_0&feature=youtu.be

I played a lot around Europe, Germany,Italy,Austria,Slovenia etc. and it was a wonderful experience, to play country music in Europe is very different feel than playing honky-tonks around US, I hope one day I could be back working European country music scene again...

In 1997 I was visiting with Scotty in St. Louis, and friend of mine from Berlin just bought a bright blue D-10 p/p Emmons from him, so I ended up bringing that guitar with me back to Europe, I think my friends last name was Achle, and I was a good friend with his brother Haiko who lived in Stuttgart, he maybe still there, he was with the band called "Silverwood", great guys, and wonderful musicians...

Damir,
I think your friend from Berlin is "Sievert Ahrends". Some years ago he went back to Ostfriesland where he was born. I know this blue Emmons because Sievert offered it to me. My black Emmons is also from him.

Damir, I met Achle in Holland years ago. He was a good player and a funny guy.

Damir, the blue Emmons is still in his hands. He used it for studio work; on the road he plays a Williams.

His address:
Sievert Ahrend
