My favorite speaker, but I have switched to using 12" speakers exclusively (which are also Altec Lansing). The 418-8H is mounted in an open-back Lopo Line cabinet that I had made a few years ago in grey vinyl (it matched a Standel head that I had). The cab has a few small tears in the vinyl, nothing major.

The speaker sounds amazing--crisp highs and fat bottom--it is a full range speaker. There are no issues and this is a vintage speaker.

$200 shipped. $165 for local deals.

I guess the weight is an important bit of info, so I'll have to get back to you on that. The speaker itself weighs less than 10 lbs. The cabinet is fairly light itself. I'll let you know.
