Sho-Bud Crossover Great tone, but pretty heavy. Someone has added 2 knee levers that are used to make changes that the floor pedals do. Other than that, the original mechanism is intact. Would like $1200. Will split shipping costs. Can be reached through the Forum or at stlplyr222@gmail.com |

The Crossover comes standard with one knee lever. Are you saying that this model now has an extra two, making three in total?
Yes, the Crossover is heavy. I have two of them. |

Butch, I am in Morganton NC. About 50 miles east of Asheville. And Alan, yes it does have 3 knee levers total. I can play the E neck on this just the same as I can on my Emmons |

Thanks for the pictures, Bobby. It's shown me how I can fit extra knee levers on mine.
Your Crossover is a lot prettier than most. All the ones I've seen have been one color on sides and top. Yours looks most attractive. |

Thanks very much. It's a good guitar, but a back surgery has made it a little too difficult to take out to play. Selling this one to make room (and money) for a lighter guitar. Thinking about a S 10 |

Curly Chalker played a modified Crossover in the late sixties and early seventies. In fact, at least two of them before he switched to MSA. It was heard on Carl Smith, "Good Deal Lucille" and many others of that era. Also on several HeeHaw programs. |

It takes the 6 floor pedal by the switch of the lever to move them to work on the other neck |

In effect, you have twelve pedals and two knee levers. There's a lever which switches the pedals and knee lever back and forth between the two necks.
I often wonder why the system never became universally adopted. For instance, on a normal two-neck instrument you have to move your feet about a foot to the right when you play on the C6 neck, as the pedals are usually set up to the right of the E9 pedals. On a Crossover you stay in the same position. |

The system makes for a very versatile guitar after some practice |
