Amp chassis is stamped Dec 23, 1971! Christmas Eve Eve! Which is a little ironic because the amp is a one owner by a Steel player named Eva! I found this in the closet, in its cover. Played my Tele through it, WOW. Fender may attempt to RI these amps, but as Coca-Cola says: It's the real thing. I wanted it on the Forum first, then to ebagh if no one wants her. Super Clean. Near Mint Condition. Email for more pictures. $2000 plus crating, freight and insurance. Amp has just returned from SolderHaus in Port Orchard, WA. Re-capped and inspected/tested. Will crate for cost of materials. Your choice on level of freight service, insurance is mandatory. Send me a reasonable offer!

That asking price is too high IMHO. Only mid 60's are worth that much.

I recently got a 74 Deluxe Reverb that is about that clean, basically the same amp but yours has the removable speaker baffle.
They are great amps! Good luck w the sale.

Chad,
Amp is pristine. The only flaw are two small patch cord scratches near one of the inputs. maybe a 1/4" long. Never left her home. She recently passed away at 95, so the math says she bought the amp at age 54. Now, think about the little old lady with the fenders. She had a super reverb which is dusty and has evidence of use on the dials. The spider poop on the cover would tell me the deluxe was put in the closet a long time ago! Price is below an average of auction results SOLD on ebay for like units, over the past 6 months.

David,
I think your pricing is in line given the condition of the amp. Truely a collectors quality piece. These finds don't happen every day.

Has it been looked at in regards to the usual things like caps, tubes etc?

Go for it Kirk, the original post says it was recently tested and re-capped. I use my '64 Deluxe Reverb all the time for low volume steel gigs along with the Tele. Can't beat the tone of these amps. BH
