I'm with Chris on this. Small and lightweight with all the power you need for most circumstances is the way to go. I've tried the 1000s, but could never get any good solid bass out of them. The mids and highs are great, but it sounds like they (once again) rolled the bottom end off to keep from having speaker damage. |

I own 2 of them. 80's models, made in the USA...
most amps are made in China now. Bought an Ampeg bass amp, new, played it once, and sent it back.....
made in China junk....
These Nashville 400's just keep on going.... |
