Thanks is advance for your help.

Question Good luck, James Moorehead was supposed to start making them but that has been promised for the last 3 years with no parts in sight yet. I'm pretty sure Mike Yal doesn't make the 3R, 2L finger used in the super pro yet but maybe he will start with enuff demand...(I need a set also) ..Stormy Winking

J.R., I think that was for a Professional, not a Super Pro.

Jeff was quick on the ball. He e-mailed me back to tell me that he doesn't offer that finger. So the hunt goes on.

There's no doubt a lot of old Bud's are in need of parts and a lot of folks would like to buy them but actually getting them in your hands is really hard to do.

When you can't buy parts a new guitar begins to sound less painful.

Fred Justice says every steel player deserves one new guitar in his lifetime and I agree with that more and more lately.

Norm,

What happens when your one new guitar of a lifetime over about thirty years becomes a classic, collectors edition? When that happens and you are still playing that guitar on every gig, one finds the need to acquire some repair parts, right?
I like my super pro. I have had others, and new ones too. I still migrate back to the same ole Super Pro.

Storm, I guess you forgot, I'm taking care of a serious backlog due to a serious accident a couple years ago? And new fingers ARE on the agenda. When I get caught up, I'll be glad to help you with some new fingers. Smile

Bruce, Our local internet was down all last week--off and on and off again blah blah. I just seen this thread and pm'ed you back. Smile
