'94 Franklin, extended E9. My new baby.
The fit and finish on this thing is fantastic. Bought it from the original owner. Couldn't be happier at the moment.

Wow! It didn't even come with pedal rods! Tell you what. Since it's defective without those rods I will take it off your hands for $500 and even pay the shipping???
All Joking aside, I don't recall seeing a 12 string Franklin and it sure is a beauty!!!! It will do nothing but continue to climb in value and you have an extraordinary steel there. Congrats on the find!

Thanks for the kind words, Dave. This steel is amazing for sure, the owner even had the original receipt and manual from Paul Sr. The invoice date is 08-02-93. _________________ Franklins, Zums, Emmonseses, Webbs |

Congratulations. Another Franklin in Florida. Mine is an 81 D-10.
Bring it to one of our Florida Steel Guitar Club Jams. |

Jack,
Unfortunately... I spend lots of time on eBay and no time with Mel Bay..
I could never hang with professionals, I am a lowly beginner. I would love to come out and watch, though. Thanks for the invite.

If you want to just come to the club jams, that is OK. Many steelers do just that. We do not charge any admission fee. There was one steeler from Lakeland that faithfully came every month, unfortunately he passed away last year.
If you want to join in you are welcome to do that too. We have no competency level requirement - all levels are welcome. We have a backup band, we do not use tracks.
The next club jam will be Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Catfish Johnny's Restaurant in Lake Panasoffkee.

First, great guitar.
Second, get out to the jams. while I cannot speak forthe Florida jams, every steel Jam I have ever seen is full of people who love to help the beginners. That means you have one lesson house with five or six teachers. You can't beat that with a stick. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

James Marlowe, looking forward to seeing you at the next club jam, too. Maybe you can bring Barrett since you both are in Lakeland. |

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. James, I need to come see you soon so we can go over a few more things on the steel. Maybe next week sometime if you are available.

Okay Barrett, I guess you were posting while I was.
Yeah, give me a holler. I'm retarded and here most the time. Maybe I can talk you into bringing that new guitfiddle. You won't need an amp. _________________ J.R. Marlowe
