Hey Bent,
I see adjustable springs and split screws, plus another row of set screws in the tuner. Are you doing some sort of Hybrid/BCT style of changer? Just curious....
Nice guitar!

A piece of master work.I still remeber the very first guitar you made when i was there in 2008.You didnt even have machines then,I think you only had couple of saws and drills. |

Another masterpiece, I would put the workmanship up against any I've seen. Are you using a 1/2 or 9/16 axle in the changer? Great job !! Martin. _________________ Several custom steels. NV-112 Boss DD-7

Your steels get more and more irresistible with every new build, Bent. You must be pretty clsoe to perfection by now! Too bad I already have too many... |

Not just great workmanship, but very tasteful design: Elegant, not gaudy, even down to the Norwegian-Canadian logo. Congrats to the builder and the new owner. |

Hey friends, Thanks so much for your kind remarks! It is a joy to finally get one finished and then have such a wonderful response from y'all.
Harry, You're right. When you were here all I had was the table saw. I shudder when I think back about cutting out the bell cranks on it! Things are a tad easier on the mill.
Douglas S. I suppose the screws are akin to a hybrid type of changer but without the tone ring or the fingers stopping against the body on a raise, it is neither here nor there. I had to have a stopper of some sort at that location so I thought why not install individual adjusters while I am at it. Who knows what comes down the road and then at least the end plate will be prepared for it. _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars

Hey Martin, Thanks! That is some fine remark coming from a builder like yourself. I use 1/2" drill rod for the axle. You think I should go to 9/16? Would there be a noticeable difference in amount of drop? _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars

Actually, his guitars make me sick. I get sick knowing they are so beautiful and I would like to have one so bad. I agree that he is building guitars on par with any other builder in history. Those of you who get to own one are very lucky. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Dale, Looking forward to Thursday. Your stamp of approval means a lot cause I know it comes from a pro who tells it like it is. Plus, some of the top pros dig your playing as we know! _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars

Don, Let's hope so. This will be #2 that I ship via the airline..no Fedup. Direct on Air Canada From London Ontario to Bergen Norway. The first one landed in Oslo without a scratch.

Stunning Guitar!..Especially like the design of the arm pad, having it end at the keyhead makes perfect sense IMO. |

Thanks Matthew
Thanks David, I designed the pad as such because I love the wood and want to show off as much of it as possible. You're on the mark - no need for a pad beyond where your hands go. _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars

All your guitars are beautiful, but you can send me the RED one on your home page. Red sounds better than Black. Boy, I'll catch some static over that remark. Larry
