I'm a bit too tall for my Zum Stage One, and am looking for a set of used extra-long front legs & matching pedal rods.

You should be able to use a typical "lift kit" on your guitar. Because the front legs are mounted with a bolt through the leg, you would only need extensions for the pedal rods, or longer rods, if you prefer.

The simplest way to make the front legs longer, is to remove the inner tube and insert a spacer into the leg, then re-assemble. If you want to extend the leg 1", add a 1" spacer inside the leg. The spacer could be something like piece of 1/2" wood dowel rod.

Thanks, good suggestion. Where would I find pedal rod extensions? The Stage One is a student model, clearly designed for smaller/younger folks than myself (I'm 60 and 6'3"). I probably need 3 inches more to get the guitar level and my knees fitting under it.

Right here on SGF:

Don't think I've ever seen a 3" extender. 1" & 2" available here.

Does anyone have a pair of used, ADJUSTABLE legs compatible with a Zum Stage One?

Daniel, they are 1/2-13 thread size which is common for most guitars such as Emmons, Carter, Franklin, Zum, Derby (not older model Mullen though). Does it matter to you the length of the pair of legs?

The back legs are expanded to 29". This is the right height for me. The front legs are only 26", and the guitar is tilting significantly forward. So, I need 3" to get the guitar level. I could use either a pair of 29" legs, or a pair of adjustable ones (like the back ones) that can expand to 29".

Daniel, I can expand a pair of legs to 29", drill holes for the pedal bar mounting bolts (using my Grandsons Zum "Encore" as a pattern for the holes) and sell them to you for $45.00 for the pair shipped. I can also furnish you with 3" rod extensions for $5.00 each.
Thanks,
Jerry
