Could be gs10.... but it doesnt really look like one. If thats the case, the price is in the ballpark. |

There appear to be some Emmons parts, but that's not an Emmons. Buyer beware!!! |

That's an Emmons GS-10, student model. It appears to have been refinished with a paint brush and some aluminum angle along the edges, and a different fretboard. I own one of these guitars, I think 599 would be a good price, even with the cosmetic issues. However, it looks like a non standard set up. There are raises on 1,2,3,5 and 6, and no lowers. So it's anyone's guess as to how it actually set up. You would need to convert it to a standard E9th tuning. You would probably need a few parts too. But it still not an outrageous price, in my opinion. Not too bad a deal if someone is looking for a project. |

Yes, it's an Emmons student model that's been badly cobbled. A very poor paint job. Aluminum strips added to the body and the pedalboard, and a few homemade parts added. There is some value in the parts... the push/pull changer, bell cranks, cross shafts, pedals, etc., but the guitar itself is a mess. _________________ My Site / My YouTube Channel
