Greetings lap guys/gals.

I have a friend who owns this. He sent it home with me and I'm going to string it up C6. I need to settle up with him, we've both agreed on the average going rate for something like this, but need to determine it.

I have a figure in my mind...wondering what those of you more involved in the lap world think?

The plexiglass (?) tuners and knobs are good and work properly. Pots are scratchy of course. I also noticed it had a bridge set up for 8 strings. I imagine it was common manufacturing process to install the 8 string bridge in both 6 and 8?

Some wear marks on the neck like it had been used in a stand. Overall condition is good, though.

Thanks for your opinions.

My older 8 string Troub in lesser cond. cost $275 in '95, and I'm betting the PU is different than your's as mine is quite crude and it's virtually all high on the tone spectrum. If looking for another 8, I'd top at $400, but a store would probably ask more, even for this 6er.
