Don't know if it's a sign of the economy, the increased demand/popularity of the Dlx 8, or just a couple of bidders wanting it. It went for $1225 (give or take a buck or 2) + $50 shipping.

Yes, Deluxe 8's have gone way up in value in the past couple of years. I think a lot of players prefer a single neck guitar today. I see the same trend with pedal steels. Maybe the aging baby boomers are looking for lighter guitars!
