I have a Sho-Bud Pro II with aluminum necks,8x6 Emmons setup, Sho-Bud pickups. serial# 18046. Bought from forum member Henry Matthews, about 4 years ago. Guitar is in very good shape, and great tone. I paid Henry $2200, I'd like to get close to what I paid for it.
'Forgot about that 6th knee, I think it raises the 4th string on C6 a half'. Here's a picture, I'll have more in a few days. NO trades please, need the money for other guitar.

Folks, this is one nice Sho-Bud and probably a one of it's kind. Haven't seen another Pro II with aluminum necks yet. This guitar was built by Carl Chandler from DeQueen Arkansas when Sho-Bud had a factory in De Queen. Carl is a great player and built this guitar for himself. This guitar plays easy and has tone to die for. If I wasn't loaded down with steels, I would buy it back. It also has wood that was hand picked by Carl which is absolutly beautiful. The pics don't do this guitar justice. Here is another pic when I had it.

Thanks a bunch Henry. Your picture looks more like the guitar than the picture I took. I'll post more pictures, top, back and undercarriage when I get to where the guitar is at. I'll try and take better pictures. Thanks

Beautiful Steel Guitar!

The aluminum necks give it great sustain. Jimmy Day played a big old blonde Sho-Bud with the aluminum metal necks.

Wish I had the extra cash and could justify buying another steel.

Hope it gets good home!

Hey Terry, your right about this bud having great sustain, and great tone to boot! Man, I really enjoyed your's and your son's playing at the Gospel singin at the shed in Mc Ghee. Hope ya'll can make it next year. Everybody seemed to have a good time.

Sure like to see some pics of the underside. Is this picture the true color or is it more brown or red?

Thanx,
Jim

Jim, it's more the color in the picture Henry posted.
This guitar is sold pending payment though. Sorry, I'll post sold in the header.
