No problem!
I want to point out that I got the scale patterns themselves from another steeler somewhere on the internet a few years ago. I wrote this tool a few years ago and now I can't remember who and what site I got the ideas from. I want to give credit to the person who wrote the scales down (they were pictures of a printed paper) but I can't find the site. I mean, scales are pretty generic, but without the original author I probably wouldn't have made my tool. So whoever made that site that I forgot about, thank you!
I added the ability to transpose to any key, which may help beginners but is really just a novelty after a while. |

Thank you, thank you, thank you. This crystalized for me how to find scale tones within the chord tones, something that has largely eluded me for some time, and has opened up all kinds of doors. Excellent contribution to the forum.

I have emailed Andy and to ask specific permission to re-distribute his file. It doesn't appear he has posted in a couple of years, and he basically gave permission in an earlier post, but I just feel I should do that out of courtesy.
