I have 4 or 5 lap and console steels that need servicing. Just basic stuff. One needs a new seven pole pickup, one needs a tone pot. I'm getting crackle in this pot, new wiring in this one, etc. I may need some magnets re-charged as well.
I would like to find someone who specializes in steel guitars but that's not absolutely necessary. (or is it?) I live in NW Arkansas but I also spend a lot of time in Colorado and will can take them out there in a few weeks if that's a better option for me. I'm really having trouble finding anyone I trust around here, so I'm hoping someone will be able to steer me in the right direction.
Come to think of it, I may have just answered my own question. There must be someone in Branson that can do it.
