How is this possible? I don't know who it is (name?), but he's playing some really great stuff here. (I guess having Martina to accompany you helps  ).
So this is my goal: to play in tune, on the beat with a smile on my face rather than a frown from wondering where the next chord is 
How many have reached this elevated state of enlightenment and relaxation? And how many years did it take? |

Chris - Just have fun - not to disagree with Dave, he's right on! Point is you don't have to be Buddy Emmons to have fun. I was messing with the steel just yesterday and the TV was on in the other room and I heard the song. "I Love Lucy". What a great tune! So I played that for awhile. Fun Fun Fun -

The problem is that if musicians appear to be enjoying their work, then people think they don't need to be paid too. So it's better to keep your head down and look like you're working really, really hard...

Good point, though I would like to have the option of looking up occasionally, if only to see if anyone is listening. Don't get me wrong, I do have fun, but it probably doesn't look like it to others.

And, it was always worse when I HAD to wear a cowboy hat. All the harassment because people couldn't see my face. Now they all wish I would wear a hat or a mask.
