| I will in Nashville then for the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society annual convention. One year I got lucky and they had a meeting going on that week at some cover somewhere, and it was like a who's who in the steel guitar world that was there...that was probably 10 or 15 years ago. I was just curious if there was anything like that going on this year..I checked the events section on the froum and didnt see anything. I always go early to listen to the Time Jumpers and then downtown during the week to hear whats going on...sometimes catch Doug Jernigan. Bobbye Seymour used to come to the convention to play thumb style on the steel with his buddy Bob Saxton, a great Travis style player. Thanks in advance for any information on anything steel related. |
