Another one I don't want to sell, but I am forced to. It's a '66 D-10 serial #1056 built by Zane in Phoenix. Invoiced December of '66. Here is a link from the ZB thread that details all of the work that I did. On the thread, there are before and after pics from when I bought the guitar and after I added 2 more knees. Since the posting on the thread, I have built a case for the legs and pedalbar and re-lined the original body case. So, it comes with split cases now with a D2F leg bag.

This is a very rare guitar. Look at the comments from Greg Jones on the thread. Being solid Black, orange belly, and one of the 170 guitars that were actually built by Zane means you probably won't see another one of these come up for sale again in several years. And the condition that this one is in is unbelievable. I'm actually the 3rd owner of this guitar. I know the second owner never gigged it, and I doubt the first and original owner did either. Greg Jones has the info on the original owner that Zane sold this guitar too.

Now, the only bad news about this guitar. It is missing 5 pull rods for the C6 neck. The E9 neck is perfectly setup and needs NOTHING! If you wanted to buy the 5 pull rods from Michael Yahl, it would cost you around $120. If you could make your own, if you know how, we're talking way less than that. I don't play C6 with pedals anyway, so it never bothered me. I was actually going to take this guitar to Greg Jones this week and have him look it over and add those 5 pull rods, but like I said, things change and that's just not possible for me at this time. So, it's your gain.
It needs:
-2 rods for the 4th pedal
-1 rod for pedals 6, 7, 8 each

If all was in perfect order with this guitar, I would be asking $2,500 for this baby. But, I know that with those 5 rods missing I have to take a hit. Again, this is a very rare find right here and it will be a while before you find another ZB like this one for sale. Pics are from a little while back but it is still in the same condition as shown in these pics and the ones on the thread.

I need to get $2000+ shipping OBO!! Paypal or Postal money. I'll ship it ANYWHERE as long as your covering the actual shipping. If you're serious, give me an offer....

Here are Some pics of the split cases and the guitar. Click on the link above to the ZB thread for more pics and details....
