I wanted to thank Bruce for quickly shipping out a couple of parts that I needed for my Zum. He got them in the mail right away and they arrived very quickly. Thanks to Bruce for the great customer service. He always takes time to help in any way he can. Plus he builds a great guitar! Thanks, Bruce.

What Ray said. Has it really been
30 years that I've been playing a Zum?

I talked to Bruce once on the phone. His approach to me, calling outa the blue, was like that of a friend and fellow steel builder. Our 45 minute conversation was like a mini education and him praising me for building nice looking steels. I'll never forget Bruce's kindness and professionalism.

Like Mike says!!! I find it hard to believe that Bruce and some of the other legendary builders have not made it into the Hall of Fame.

I bought a Zum from him in the early 80s.. It was a great experience dealing with Bruce. It was a great guitar! I would love to buy a Hybrid if he gets time to build me one Smile

hopefully a little piece of my blond hybrid still shows up in the avatar? I also still have the 82 S-12 Bruce made for me way back then though it's had a few changes since then.

I have never had the pleasure of meeting the man, but I am grateful to him and Doug Ernest for designing and building a pedal steel for the traveling pro musician and entry level player that sounds so killer.

Thankyou Doug and Bruce!

Does anybody have an email address for Zum?

Some of the nylon hex tuners on my Zum have wrung their threads. I got a packet of GeorgeL hex nuts but they don't fit properly. I guess I need to contact Bruce and buy some spare nuts from him.
