What's the chances that this is actually a Delta which was the Roebuck catalog version made basically identical? Have you ran the serial number? I only ask because of the missing logo.... |

ill take it apart again and make sure......but you can tell its the same wood flying Vees are made of i think cochina wood or something like that |

Close ... Korina is what Gibson called it. Its also more commonly known as Limba and is a great tonewood.
On the missing logo, it could be that sadly that its pretty common for the Skylarks to have had their logo cannibalized as it is the very same as what came on the first V. Its kind of like how many of the Fender steels get robbed for their period correct Tele parts. _________________ Some misc pics of my hand crafted steels
