Good Morning,
Here's an interesting track from 1973. No fancy steel breaks or intros, just playing behind the singer, but this time you'll hear two players. Maybe hard to identify, but great to hear the steels waving in and out. Both players are Hall of Famers.

I'm no good at these things. I have an idea, but don't want to embarrass myself. I'll just say I really enjoyed this one. Thanks for posting these classic gems, Walt. |

That's Don Adams singing. Weldon Myrick and Doug Jernigan played on his "On His Way" album that this cut is from. He was a Jones Boy and also can be heard, along with Buddy Emmons, on George Jones' "Live At Dancetown USA" album. |

Yes, that is Don Adams with Weldon Myrick and Doug Jernigan on Steel. The album also contains some great twin fiddle plazing by Roy and Paul Justice.
Kind Regards, Walter _________________ www.lloydgreentribute.com |
