920 is what I use. Sometimes it takes just a little more downward pressure. Get the 920, and you'll figure it out. _________________ Amateur Radio Operator NA4IT (Extra)

The 1st fret requires a bit more pressure. You'll get used to it before too long. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

Hey Carl, I'm a Noob to some degree and I took advice from a veteran player and purchased a 1" bar to help develpoe my left hand technique. I used the bar for an extended period of time and when I started using the smaller bar , I was impressed at the skill I had developed. YMMV Enjoy the ride and Happy Steelin' |
