Sho Bud #6139 3 pedal x 1 knee lever For all intensive purposes I can't call this guitar brand new-but it is new !! Entire guitar body & neck is birdeseye maple.

Purchased in 1975 & never really played. Has about 3-4 hours total use on it. AND IT SHOWS !! THE LACQUER FINISH IS FLAWLESS-!! Everything is original on this guitar. There is not a scratch on it. There are absolutely no bar dings or nicks or scratches anywhere on this guitar. Take a look for yourself. Beautiful blonde birdseye maple !! Take a look at the undercarriage. You could eat off of it. Also there is no oil or grime or residue or dirt of any kind on the undercarriage, including the changer. Guitar spent it's life since around 1975 in the case. Take a look at the tone and volume controls underneath. They are original and there is no wear at all on them. The pots work just as they should with no scratchy bad pot sounds. And the toggle switch works fine also. Even though it is a 3 pedal x 1 knee lever, most of you know that you can add 3 more knee levers to this very easily and that's all you'd need in a guitar. The nice thing about if you added them parts is that the new parts would be new and they would match the old parts, which are new !!

For historic purposes I would leave this guitar the way it came from the factory. It is a work of art and should be in a Shobud museum somewhere.

The case is also like new except for a minor tear on the bottom. When I purchased it they were really upset about the tear because they couldn't figure out how it got there because the guitar sat in its case most of its' life. I purchased this guitar from the son and daughter in law who said their father is the one that purchased it new in around 1975 and as I stated never really used. I believe he got sick and couldn't play. After he passed they just couldn't part with it for years. Comes with the original leg/rod bag, which also is like brand new. And the original tuning directions from when they purchased it from Music City Mfg Co. in Nashville.

****SERIAL NUMBER IS #2776*****

So the guitar speaks for itself. Basically a new guitar manufactured in 1972, give or take a year or two, and not really ever played. Take a look and judge for yourself !!

Price: $1,600.00 (and $65.00 shipping)

Even aside from the flawless condition, that is one of the prettiest Sho~Buds I've seen, which is saying something, considering that 'Buds are generally great-looking rigs.

Wonderful guitar Al! If one has Ricky do it, he can add 5 knee levers under there. My '74 is now 3&6.
