Today we received a call from Terry Bethel saying he has added 2 more names to the long list of invited steel players. I've got to tell you that it sparked some anticipation in my mind. It's over 2 and a half months until the show starts. I imagine some of you have already planned to come. So I would suggest that you circle the dates on your calendar and make it 'top priority'! Make sure you don't let anything, I mean 'anything', I mean absolutely nothing compete for that date! Make it your plan of plans to be at this steel guitar show, July 26 - 28 at the Community Center in Branson, MO. You see, that far away in time, you know of nothing that would get in the way. You don't have any plans to go anywhere or see anybody or do anything. So no doubt that date is clear. It's not too early to make your reservation at Branson Towers! Of course, if there's something unforeseen that makes it impossible to come, that would and should take priority. We sure hope nothing so seriously wrong will happen. Hey, guess what? Outside of the church services, this will be my first time to play at the show! Terry said I can play on Friday! I'm practicing hard for that event! I hope that doesn't make you decide to come Saturday. See ya!! _________________ Jerry and Venda |
