This is my third arrangement reaching for a Pedal Steel sound on a Lap Steel. As in my first two songs I am using an eight string set up with F# and Eb on strings 1 and 2 so that it looks like this way as explained previously: F#--Eb--G#--E--C#--B--G#--E

This would be a great entrance tuning for a student
biding time to get a pedal steel for financial reasons or otherwise; and if you never got a Pedal
Steel this set up could last a few life times. It's a great challenge.

Email me if you wish help in getting started. Visit my ClicTab Web Page as noted below for more information.

Hi Tommy!
There are two previous threads that I posted over the past few months using this tuning set up and if
you search: Slippin' Away and The Steeler's Waltz you should be able to come up with the clips therein.
Best Regards and Thanks for the listen.

Roy

Today I am playing E9 Pedal Steel for
instruction purposes and it is no problem
switching from the E9th non pedal used for
this thread.
They relate really well and offer a better
understanding for me in regard to both modes
of playing Steel Guitar. I can steal ideas from
one tuning to the other.
Thanks to all for giving a listen.

Roy
