we also miss him very much.i miss seing him playing sitting against the wall with us on sundays jam.one great guy and one fine steel player you always knew it was john playing even if you couidn't see him.the picketts _________________ thomas pickett sr.started playing drums in country bands in 1957 |

I met Johnny by following John Carter's recommendation to give him a listen in 1970 at the Rim. Johnny was a great guy and great player.
