I've heard 70's model, and I've heard 80s model.
Can someone tell me the year model of my Sho-Bud Pro II please? serial # 18046 Thanks

Terry, a calculated guesstimation from my data is October 15, 1982.

It looks like they were only building about 2 per day at that point as production was winding down.

Yep...'80's.
Short body, no gumby, ProII decal down near the inlay.
Do I see white binding on the p/u's? Do they have a white Sho~Bud logo on them?
And of course, in true Sho~Bud fashion, it's got metal necks and a ProII designation. Probably having to do with body size, since late model ProIII's - with no gumby and slightly smaller body still had a small space between the end of the neck by the changer and the endplate - 3/4" or so...but late model ProII's didn't, like this one.
