My new ETS is the one that Larry Agan showed at the jamboree at Dallas/ Irving. He was so nice when he told how he built and coloured her. I was very shocked to hear about his accident the next day.

The steel is soooooo beautiful, photos can't demonstrate that. Very Happy
She stays in tune and sounds really good.

Thanks to Al Brisco for his perfect service.

Best regards
Sabine

Wow, that is a looker. I'm not familiar with too many brands, being new tot he pedal steel myself. Is that a Carter fret board/neck that I see? Congrats on a fine looking instrument. If it sounds near as good as it looks, your in good shape!

They are excellent guitars Sabine, both tonally and mechanically. May you have many years of enjoyment with it.

Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate that very much.

@ Daniel: Yes, it's a Carter-fretboard Smile (on a wooden neck and an aluminium body)

@ Ken: She will be with me until my end.

Kind regards

I guess, Holland, France, Brittain and Germany have a lot of steelplayers, more pro square mile than in the USA Smile

Oranienburg is near Berlin, there are about 10 players in Berlin, maybe more... Smile Smile regards, Johan (Kleve, Germany)

Nice guitar. I've got the twin to it. Neck is maple and body aluminum finished under 9 coats of clear lacquer. Guitar sounds great and plays great." Live Steel Strings" are really a plus on it also. I use the "Nashville Set" with a 11.5 in place of the #3- .011. Excellent guitar.

Congratulations on a great first guitar! I've got the very same thing, one of the early ETS burgundy beauties that came out of Larry's shop. It was my second guitar, after learning to play on a MSA Classic. The ETS has made me a better player.
