Hello Don, I read your story, and wanted to
mention that I have a peavey renoun with 2 12s, yes they are more shrilling to listen too, I had to use a Boss rv3 for my reverb on
it to get it to sound a little better, it is
a lead guitar amp not a steel amp, the channels are a little flat sounding, this is due to equalization band width on these amps,
and the fact that they are an analog amp. you will need a parametric equalizer to widen the pre-amp band width, and the boss rv, you can get by with this reverb unit only. but recomend the equalizer too. steveb.

great amp. but use Evans all the time and may sell it
