Hi
I have just had the up-grade done to my Evans amp
and the difference is tone to the bone. Gone is the expand switch being replaced by a control knob. Plus other components replaced with in the amp it self. I am using a 15inch EPS speaker with this amp
a lot of depth and rich tone all around. If you have a AH200 I can recommend this up grade. The service I had from Scot is first class. So if you have one of these amps go for the up- grade. I did I now have a smile on my face.

I had my Evans SE-200 preamp modified also. There is a world of difference. It sounds like an amp now. More open bass,
not dull and thumpy as before.

This is great to hear. I am planning on sending my se200 in for this upgrade. What was the turn around time?

My turn around was 15 days, but, i aked to delay as i was on a trip and would not be home to recieve it.

So about 10 days or so is probably correct.

The mod does make a big difference. I use an Emmons PP, Zumsteel D-10, and a Lone Star E'Lite. All three sound good.
