I just thought I'd share this latest project with everyone. This guitar belongs to a young man by the name of Chris Gabriel, here in Portland, Oregon. He is a very accomplished musician and you should hear him play lap steel!! I can't wait to hear him play this MSA. I'm hoping he'll bring it to our steel jam next month.

You don't come across very many left handed pedal steels, especially an S-10 with 10 pedals and 5 knee levers! Chris came up with his own Bb6th copedent that he wanted me to install, along with rebuilding the changer, on his very nice MSA from the 70's. To say this was a little challenging for me would be an understatement! It was a little hard for me just to wrap my head around a left handed steel! Rodding that many changes on one neck made it pretty challenging, especially with a double raise double lower changer.

Jim Palenscar and Michael Yahl were a big help in supplying the parts that we needed.

I do not need to go on about how much of a pleasure it is to do business with Lynn Stafford, and how fortunate we are to have him nearby.

Ya'll know that already!

Allow me to express here on the steel guitar forum tremendous gratitude for the extra effort and time Lynn put into this. The thing works well. Wonderfully well.

My hat's off to a wonderful craftsman. I should be so lucky! Thanks Lynn!
