OK, you amplifier gurus...and I know you are out there. I have a Nashville 400 with a BW 15" speaker. I purchased it last year and it is reported to be all original. I believe it is.
I would like some help to determine the following:
1. What year is it? The serial# is: 00-05458857
2. It plays beautifully, sounds great. I have seen discussions online regarding upgrades that should/could be done to improve the sound, etc.
Please educate me. I am an engineer but not an electronics or amplifier guru.
Thanks, BC _________________ Brian A. Christiano, MSME, P.E.

Not sure if you got your question answered, but the plate on the back should look something like this. The 85C is the year that it was manufactured. Someone once told me the letter was the code for which quarter of the year it was manufactured (A= 1st quarter, B = 2nd, etc...). I don't know that to be fact, but other products I have seen use similar types of manufacturer date coding.

If it has chrome hardware, it is a 1990, black hardware it is a 2000.
