i think the pedal steel player is terry crisp ,watch the video, for me the pedal steel player seems terry crisp , The sound does not remind me of Paul Franklin’s style but of course I may be wrong.

I looked at the liners, but I couldn't see any sidemen's names.

Theresa i thought the pedal steel player were Terry Crisp because i thought he were the pedal steel player in the second video(thank you Bill for correcting me). Now i am curious, too, to know for sure if the original solo was played by Paul

Glad you liked it....Its me on "Good Hearted Woman" from the CD which is the version you originally posted. It was produced by Vince Gill..Vince produced all but a couple of sides..Darrell Brown produced the remaining two songs..I don't have a copy or I'd look to verify that exact number...Its Rusty on the live version posted later in the thread.
