I had the pleasure of listening to Johnny Cox Saturday afternoon at Gruene Hall with the Flat Top Jones Band. It was a wonderful time with fantastic picking and a good song selection. Johnny's tone was perfect and his playing was superlative, as Marty Stuart would say. Thanks, Johnny, for a very entertaining time. |

I once heard Johnny play "The Nearness of You." Geez, it brought tears to these old eyes.
He is sooooo good. |

Sonny, I didn't know Johnny was going to be there either. You never know who the steel player will be with this band. I've seen Cindy Cashdollar, Dave Biller, & others with them. Flat Top Jones Band always puts on a very entertaining show no matter who plays. |
