Sho-Bud Fingertip

My friend has a Sho-Bud Fingertip he wants to sell. He thinks it's a 1969. What years were they made and is there a way of actually dating this steel?

Fingertips were from '63 to '67. The only way to date one is by what era the parts are from. They changed them a couple of times through that era. Pics would help.
