Kenny Ball, bandleader and jazz trumpeter, died at 82 from pneumonia. Though he wasn't a steel player, he was well loved by many of us, especially in Britain.

Wow, there's a name from the past! Hi jazzy version of "Moscow Evening" (retitled "Midnight In Moscow") was kind of a forerunner of the all the Herb Alpert stuff.

I did not realize he was that old already alan, he was one of the top dogs that's for sure, he did what he wanted to do and that's the main thing, he wanted to play trumpet and he did.
