I can't tell you how THRILLED I am to recieve this wonderful lap steel ....Ron has TOTALLY outdone himself with this one !!....... The craftsmanship is SUPERB on this little guy !!.....I am still just staring at this thing !!.....I haven't even plugged it in yet !!....LOL !!......I had to post these pic's as soon as I got this BEAUTY out of the box ......I told Ron to take his time ....No rush !!!....I wanted it RIGHT , and he delivered in SPADES !!.......I'll post later and let you guys know how it sounds ....I'm STOKED !!......Jim[/img]

Love it. He's working on one for me too. I'd love to know two things:
Did you decide against binding?
And I'd love to hear the difference between those two pups.

Actually I have tortise binding against the darker shade of the sunburst ...It looks very rich up close .......

The pickup variation is GREAT ....They are both very smooth sounding pickups and the Grande Console pickup has just enough bite for the bridge position wthout being harsh , and the Christian is smoother than a baby's butt in the neck position ....Together they are a match made in heaven !!..... Just enough power to do effects justice too ...No noise from the electronics !!.....VERY well made !!....Jim

Nice. Strings through the body, two great pickups, wide string spacing. Looking forward to hearing sound clips sometime. Inquiring minds want to know! Cool
