Hi Gilbert

The information I have for a National Triple neck is - model 1052 made between 1953 and 1961.

In terms of value IMHO its all about condition.

-originality
-cosmetics
-functionality

Maybe if you can post a few pictures you will get some comments regarding vaule.

regards
mike

Hi Gilbert
I just picked one up last week.
Is the one you referring to a "chord changer" I haven't tried that out but I love the sound of mine.
It has the " totem" style frets. Almost a 3 octave neck.
I can send you a link to the manual if it is the chord changer.
Mine is 1953 based on serial numbers.

I would say prices range from 300to 700 or higher depending on condition.
A real nice one on EBay just went for around 900 but it looked mint and the seller said the chord changer worked well, etc.
Those handles break if the strings are too large. Be careful trying it.
You need it use the recommended gauges.

Sorry Gilbert,
I read your post as national triplex not triple neck..
Obviously what I wrote doesn't apply to your guitar..
May be useful to someone thinking about a triplex though .

Jeff, thanks for posting the picture.
Beautiful instrument!
I love the long scale neck with those fret markers.
