I compared my Sierra with jerry Wallace"s pickup to Bob Stone"s Sierra with the original George L pickup. I think that I might put the original back in.

Is there any other pickup that would fit that would give more of a "raw sound". I saw that Herb Remington sells a steel with a George L that is wound more to Fender specifications. That picture of Cindy Cashdollar's equipment had a brown Sierra that had a different pickup in it. Anyone know what that was

Thanks

You should contact Cindy Cashdollar directly; I'm sure she knows.

As far as other pickups that give you a more raw sound, I'd contact Jason Lollar.

When I bought my Sierra it came with a horse shoe pickup. I was disappointed with the low output and tone. i had the same luthier who has worked on Cindy's guitars install the original George L and it made a big difference. What do you mean by "Raw".
