I just received the DVD "CurlyChalker In Concert - 1986."
Mike and Michael Brebes have done an outstanding job of preserving and restoring Chalker performances that could easily have been lost forever.
It is a masterful editing job and the end result is
very enjoyable. Two hours of Chalker doing his magic.
Also, I appreciate Mike's fast response and prompt shipment of my order.

Thanks Blake. Actually Mike Brebes was the one who actually did the work involved in creating the DVD. He deserves most of the credit.

I'll about of how it all came about soon.

Ol' Mike. He loves this foolish machine, and goes out of his way to help young guys like me. Pretty good dude, is how I'd describe him.

Just Got it today. Had an ear to ear smile the whole time I watched it......wow...Curly's another master, and a great performance by the late Bobby Caldwell as well.
Tx Mike.

Mike I got it in the mail today. Been listening to it straight for over 2 hours. The LA track of Curly and Johnny Davis trading 8ths, I believe, on Steeling The Blues, was well worth the very small cost of this exellent preservation of a great steel players work. He does things that are beyond understanding, but would give even the best players some things to strive for, if they were so inclined.
Thank you for the quick service...

I got mine too (much earlier than yesterday). Thanks, Mike.

It was delightful to watch it like in a club scene,
really present guy.

I've just found it after travelling thru time to Pennsylvania.

I'd like to remind everybody that I still have hundreds of copies of the DVD sitting in boxes in my garage.

For those who are unfamiliar with Chalker's work, here are 2 You Tube clips from the DVD.

For those who aren't aware of it, the bass player in this video is this Forum's own Jim Bob Sedgwick, a very fine steel guitarist in his own right.....JH in Va.
