You and the band did a great job on this song. Your voice and steel fits it perfectly. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

Really, really nice. What is it about that song that's so uplifiting and moving?
One of my bands pulls that one out when we have people sitting in, everybody always loves it. What a great song. _________________ Stop by the Steel Store at: www.markvanallen.com

Jeremy, a great job on that old Neil Young classic. I love your voice and you're getting a great tone out of that Emmons. Is that an Emmons student model? That's what it looks like but it has a very good sound. What amp are you using for the tune?....JH in Va. _________________ Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!! |

Thanks guys, for all the kind words (and yes, Jimmy Fallon is one of my heroes).
Jerry, it is in fact an Emmons Student Model which I have upgraded to 4 knee levers. I also have an Emmons S-10 Pro Model but I think the Student Model sounds better (and it's MUCH lighter), so it's usually the one I play. The amp is a Music Man 65 with a JBL 12 inch speaker. |

My favorite Neil Young song. Great job. If I don't look at the video, I would say that Neil was doing the singing, except your a step up in quality from Neil.
Forgot to add: Great band. Fantastic harmonies. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Playing for 54 years and still counting. |
