The winner of the drawing is: Andrew Roblin

Congratulations to Andrew!
I've decided to send 2 copies to young students I've heard about, too.

I'm so excited that these books arrived today. They look great, in spite of a few typos that snuck past bloodshot eyes.

I want to give a book or two away, so even if you've purchased one, I'm going to hold a raffle and will refund your money if your name is selected.

Send me an email (mike@mikeneer.com) with the title "Raffle" and I will enter your name for the drawing on Saturday, March 16.

Here is an extremely low resolution video I shot with an old phone, demonstrating the use of the tetrachords in the mixolydian mode over a D9sus/F9sus vamp.

Don't be shy, I've only got about 20 emails so far. I will automatically enter all who've already purchased the book.

I've mailed about half of the books so far (in the order they were purchased) and I got crushed on the international shipping charges on the first batch of orders. But you will pay me back with hospitality when I come to visit Europe and Australia. Smile

Anyway, I should have all orders completed by Saturday. phew!

Welcome to the club, Mike! I shipped three orders today to... France, Austria, and Canada, and the total was almost $50.00. I had to raise my shipping charges recently to cover the cost. I did pay the additional cost for a couple of weeks before raising the price for international. I feel bad for the international buyers, and I greatly appreciate their purchases.

I do, too, the charges are outrageous.

Mike, I have every reason to believe it'll be well worth it. I really enjoyed the improv on "Maiden Voyage" too - your playing is proof enough that your methods and ideas work!

@ Doug Beaumier & Mike Neer:
You could sell your books also in a crypted pdf format and charge little extra, in order to cover possible piratism losses.

Thank you, Mike.

I'm looking forward to studying your book and learning from you. It sure sounds interesting and stimulating.

How wonderful you're sending books to your steelers. Your generosity is beautiful.

Thanks again.
