I know there has been a lot of discussion on strings and, separately, pickups. But my question is a little different: My "new to me" Mullen D-10 hs George L's and I'm wondering if certain kinds of strings sound better with th L's. I liked the Live Steel strings on my SD-10 with Mullen pickups, but not sure if I like them with the L's. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I have a Mullen PG2 D-10 with the Mullen George-L's and I have found I like the sound of Cobra Coils.

Which George L? I find that the E66 has great tone, but little to no personality/soul. It could be just me.

Thanks Dustin, I'll give them a shot.

All I want out of my Mullen RP is great tone; I'll give it the personality and soul.

What lane said... I love my Mullen pick-up, much more warmer and lively than the E66, but the mullen is a single coil and has buzz like any other S/C pick-up. You should be able to get all the Love out of it with the original PU.
