how many of y'all sell the entire C6th assembly: neck, keyhead, tailpiece, pickup, entire undercarriage?
Or part is out piecemeal?
And how many of ya'll save the parts for future reassembly.

When I stripped the back neck off my old ZB I kept everything in a box just in case I wanted to reinstate it one day.
But that was back in the Old Country - somehow in the move to the USA I lost track of it all.
I may as well have sold it!

I would think a complete neck assembly, absent deck, aprons, and endplates, would be a very valuable assemblage of parts.

I kept 'em in case they'd come in handy. Good thing, too: When I redid my 12, i accidentally bent the steel plates of a couple scissors.

| I kept all my C6 parts, not to re-assemble back into a D10 someday, but to have a stock of spare parts in case something breaks or wears out. Other than a couple of knee lever parts I need to get as spares, I have enough extra pieces that I should be able to keep my '74 MSA Classic playable for the rest of my life. |

| What I did with the parts from the back neck a few years ago was I bought a set of good used S10 end plates and a set of legs all off the forum I then made a new body and made another steel. The knee levers were easy to make using the extra bell cranks |

Had to choose other, because I wouldn't do such a conversion. I think it makes more sense to leave the C6 intact and find a SD-10 jmho
