Someone just recently posted a beautiful Shobud D10 blonde that had a white fretboard,,,and then withdrew it...as I recall he had some unfortunate health issues and was wanting to sell...as Ricky Davis pointed out and others,,,,underpriced. I am not trying to buy it I just wanted to see pictures of that beauty !! Any help would be appreciated....I have looked all thru the for sale ads, and it must have been deleted. Thanks in advance. I love looking at those old Shobuds !! I think they are some of the prettiest steel ever made. Also my old teacher in th 60s had a new one that looked just about like that, as i recall, that he had purchased new in about 64 or 65.

I think you meant James Morehead's fingertip (only blonde on top).

Well, your work speaks for itself.
While we're on the subject of blondes....I've always admired this one that passed through your hands on its way to Germany........round front pro ii, two hole pullers, rope inlay, coil tap pickups ....in a factory natural finish......

This is very impressive.

I have never seen such a lot of similar siblings before, better than a bunch of red Ferraris at a vintage auto show.

I still have this '67 Fingertip. Still setup as it came from the factory. I'm afraid to change it. It's not a perfect finish or super clean (like Alan's) but it looks ok and has the sweet Fingertip tone.

As much as I am enjoying the blondes, I am enjoying the various Fender amps in the background...

Larry, We can make you a pretty blonde, no problem. Here's one that was tobacco brown. Same guitar, just different lighting. Enjoy!
