Does that mean links to bands you use to play
with,or current bands you are with now.
I am sure you are a teacher of steel guitar.
Normally a long course.what kind of classes do you
normally teach, how long are they, and do you make cd's
for the classes?
There is so much crap appearing, that showing what you actually do is much to your favor.
I would love to hear a little of you either teaching
or talking on a cD or a tape, what ever you Have.
I will talk you up where ever you teach.

These are bands I am currently in. While my bands don't have much mainstream success,we do have recordings and I've gotten to share the stage with artists like Billy Joe Shaver, Dale Watson, Lucero, and other country and americana acts.

I don't teach any courses and I don't sell anything. What I've made available is due to what I found to be a lack of free & available resources for beginning steel guitar players. As for the crap you speak of, yes I've paid for some of it. The videos are altruistic in that aspect. This forum and its members helped me tremendously in the same manner.

I do have a couple students who are patient with me trying to standardize a style of learning, trying to balance fun, technique, and theory. At that point, I may try to produce a book or course, we'll see! As far as online lessons or a CD/DVD course, I'm sure there are much better teachers than myself to provide that, it would mostly be redundant. If anything, I believe my advantage would be the experience of playing live and my age in that I might see more clearly where the application of steel guitar is going, which would be positive for those who were wanting to play more than for their own enjoyment. Anyway, thanks for your interest, Bill
