I've had the pleasure of playing this instrument and can attest that it's one of the best sounding, best playing steel guitars I've ever laid hands on. If I had the money I'd grab this one in a heartbeat. It's a real bargain at this price.

Are both pickups always on? Is there a nice way to put a switch in that wont screw it up? i thought about putting a trs (tip ring sleeve, or stereo) jack in place of the jack on mine, then wire each pickup to it, but then i realized the jack is post-volume pot... i guess that's why they added dampers to the later models...

Hi Andy,

Since the pots weren't original, I put a push pull pot in for the volume pot to switch between necks which works perfectly.

Regards,

Paul
