Hi Guy and or Gals,
A friend of mine has a 6 string lap steel with the name Supro on it.
The serial number on it is T 42881
Can you e-mail me and tell me anything about it's manufacturing date, the number of them made, and a value?
Thanks!

It would have been made in 1959. Nobody knows how many were made or the value since you didn't provide a model, description or condition.
Pictures are very helpful in this situation. _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

I had one that I gave to my granddaughter. Perfectly mint with chipboard case. 1959. Paid $300.
It was maroon mother of toilet seat.
Hope that helps. _________________ Bill |

I'm sure plenty of members of this forum will corroborate the fact that once you start dating lap steels you're on a very slippery slope! |

I dated a Remington Steelmaster once. That relationship could have worked, but I let it slide.

I dated Reece's Superslide but there were too many strings attached. |
