I've got an extra one of these amps here now, the same one I have been recording with this past couple of years. I pulled the very heavy JBL E130 out of it in hopes of finding it a new home more easily.

$250 and it's yours with no speaker, or $500 if you want me to put the E130 back into it for you...

Local pickup/delivery is much preferred, as the cheapest shipping will be well over $100 additional.

These amps have a sweet FET front end, grit and grunge available if you push it hard, but sweet clear tone is in abundance. The cabinet itself has a removable back panel so as to be set up closed - or open-back.

This one is relatively clean, and like all of these amps rides on wheels; these are strong enough to support the added weight of your carefully perched guitar and seat as you roll merrily down the sidewalk to your gig. A crack on one side and one small tear in the tolex are the only notable blems.

In addition to the Bass, Midrange and Treble controls there is High and Low EQ for the reverb circuit, a jack for a remote reverb control pot, Effects Loop Input and Output, and a 5-band Graphic EQ for the overall output. Everything works perfectly and sounds great, if I did not already have two of these it would be staying right here.

200 watts into 4 ohms, 300 watts into 2 ohms

The amp contains a fully functional and original Accutronics Type 4 Medium Decay Reverb Tank

Cutout for your 15" speaker of preference

Photos taken before the speaker was removed. Note the tear in the tolex midway down the right edge, also the crack in the right side a few inches above it - not a structural issue and not really so obvious as the flash makes it appear here, but a crack nonetheless and to be fully disclosed Confused

The original DPDT power switch was replaced with a single-throw one and the speaker wire and connector were upgraded, otherwise it's stock early 1980's vintage.

I will leave the knobs all dialed in at no extra charge Very Happy

I put the amp on the bathroom scale and without a speaker it reads a bit over 50lbs. The wheels are good and they can support the added weight of a guitar and seat anywhere you can roll to, but this is not a great one for hauling up and down flights of stairs happily Embarassed I don't want anybody to get hurt so I'm just sayin'.....

I am a PV and Walker guy BUT Dave gets as good a sound as I have heard on his 500. It is the real deal.

I've heard and played through this this amp and it's a great one. It wasn't so heavy it would be mine. My old back just can't take those big amplifiers of yesteryear! despite the great tone
